The Universal Poker Network will be combining with Everleaf Gaming tonight at 9 pm et January 19, 2010. Down time estimates vary but expect at least ten hours for your site to be offline.
The Universal Poker Network was a Europe facing network with the Euro as their currency. Everleaf Gaming allowed US players and had the US dollar as their currency. The new, combined network promises a multi-currency system as well as a new cashier with more deposit methods.
Neither of these networks were extremely large, and they were always owned by the same concern. By combining, the principles hope to create a larger network that will attract more players to their system.

Our friends at Holdem Poker Chat are once again holding one of their popular 24 hour Poker Marathons.
This event features 24 games over a 24 hour time span, encompassing many different poker sites. Not only that, but every game has money added! You do not have to play every game to see value in playing some of them with all that added money.

News in the industry is that Fair Poker is no longer a going concern. The word is that Noble Poker has taken in all Fair Poker customers.
Both sites were on the iPoker network. All player balances as well as frequent player points have been moved to Noble Poker. the Fair Poker website now says Noble Poker.
I am in the US, so cannot easily verify this, but it is being rumored that Noble Poker is offering the Fair Poker players a bonus to play at Noble. Anyone with an account that was affected and can verify this, please post about the details below.
