Felt Stars Poker is a new site, but you will be hearing a lot more from them in the future. Felt Stars launched on the Merge Gaming Network. Right out of the gate they announced a new championship.
The World Championship of Internet Poker (WCOIP) will kick off in March 2010. What sets this series apart is the tournaments are affordable for the average player and not just for the huge stakes players. that does not mean the prizes are not up to snuff.
If a player wins any two (2) events then they will win a Rolex Submariner watch valued at over $6,000. Each winner of any event will also win a seat into the $50,000 guaranteed tournament held every Sunday. The winner of WCOIP Event No. 12 or 13 will win a WCOIP bracelet and will have their pictures featured on the Felt Stars website WCOIP Hall of Fame.

Also rumored to be in the works is an Online Forum Challenge event at Felt Stars. Sources close to the situation state that it will feature a $2,000 freeroll and a $5,000 added buyin event. Look for this event at the end of February.
