Hello lucky...
It seems every tourney or table has these guys/girls.
It's amazing how many "pros" waste their time playing freerolls that pay out $.27 for 4 hours work. LOL
One thing all these players seem to have in common, is that the very move they call you a 'donkey' for making, would be brilliant poker if they themselves had done it.
One way to deal with these folks is to just ignore them...they rarely last very long. Either they tilt, or they are so busy worrying about everyones else's play that they lose sight of their own game.
One fun thing to do, is to help them along in their tilt by being nice to them...it drives them Nucking Futs! Say something like: "Wow, you must really be having a rough day to be so angry...maybe you should have a nice cup of tea or something". You get the idea...
A sure-fire way to send someone with anger issues right over the edge.
The bottom line is, chances are you are going to be in the tourney a lot longer than they are...and use their weakness to land some of their chips while you are at it!
Good luck!

hi flontario,

yes i have to agree with you.. many times i have had enjoyable tourneys but as soon as one acts up it spoils my enjoyment and i just give up and go tilt myself .. i just wish they would act their age and not their kids age and realise that FREEROLL is like FUNROLL not PROROLL lol.

Default I hear ya lucky...

when I first made the transition from real life games, (with friends, neighbors, or in casinos), to the world of online poker that is one of the first things I noticed: folks online act in ways they wouldn't think of acting in the real world. They use language, ethnic slurs and references to other's sexual preferences and paternal origin that, in the real world, would earn them a quick pop in the mouth! Or even scarier for most of them , dirty looks from their fellow players.

Sometimes I am just not in the mood for abuse. If I find it to be too much for me, or I am just not into fighting the ignorance on ANY level, I will sit out for 10 minutes and do something else. Nine times out of ten, when I return the idiots have busted out, or I am at a new table. And I still have chips, and can continue to have fun!

For the most part, I have found my online experience to be fantastic. I have met so many helpful, friendly-and funny-people from all over the world. Once in awhile you will hit a room that is just golden. People that just enjoy the game...that is worth all the BS.

I hope we get to play sometime, lucky!

edited for: I guess we might get to play, as we are both in the 8pm freeroll on UB. I'll keep my eyes out, and good luck!
