Yes, make them pay to play. Before river 4-card flush draw has about 20% of completing so if you make them contribute more than 20% to the pot while having leading hand you will be payed off.

Well I try not to go broke against flushes, but sometimes if I have K10 suited & they have an ace-high flush I lose all of my chips. I guess I just try to be more careful with how I play when a flush is possible. They're tricky to tell sometimes if people bet on a flush-draw I think!

As already stated, you're gonna have to make it cost too much to chase...Sadly though,in online poker, most ppl are going to chase regardless..Chase,call,reraise,all in...and with nothing...I certainly don't know much, but what I do know is in online games, there is not much you can do about ANYTHING sometimes.

Very good question with some great answers. The odds of hitting a flush on river or turn is only 6.2 to 1. I like to be up against a flush chaser with a good make hand, they miss a lot. That said I find flushes come in bunches, none for weeks then for a couple of days they come in all the time. When I'm caught in that cycle I just get out of the way. Good Luck and make them pay!
