Cheating Friend

I am pretty knowledgeable about poker and really enjoy the game. Every now and then I have some friends over for a loose game of poker say 10 and 20 cent blinds. The game isn't too serious, but no one wants to lose. One of my good friends who can't stand loosing takes things a little to serious. I have caught him a couple times while dealing drop cards in his lap, or deal the bottom card out or even flat out look at the next card in the deck (as to see whats on the flop) hes a good friend of mine and nobody is losing a lot of money and I am scared to confront him. What should I do.

Straight up tell him that it's not fun to play with a cheater and threaten to stop playing if he keeps cheating. Tell him to instead become a better poker player.
