Default Doyle's Room

Over about a 4 month's span I had built a pretty good bankroll on Doyle's room, Poker Host, Poker Time, and Intertops. About a week ago, I was invited to a 6000 dollar freeroll on Doyle's room. I had prior plans and couldn't make it, so I asked a friend to play it for me, big mistake. I never imagined he would go crazy and spend all my money then close my account because of his gambling problem. Make up some story about how they closed cause he played my game. I now have all the before mentioned accounts closed cause they are affiliates, or whatever, I hope so any way I have much more money in other accounts. I contacted the support group at doyle's room and they basically tell me I'm sol. I asked them to look at my account history and I clearly have no "gambling problem" They said yea, there is still nothing they could do. I wonder what they do with that money. They told me I was basically banned from the sites and could not open another account. The kicker is my friend still has account with these sites. Pretty lame huh. Oh the lady kept telling me her boss said, her boss said, and when I asked to talk to him he was in a meeting, well can I contact him later. Sorry sir you can not . All this has really left me sour. I can't help to think if this same thing would of happened if I had thousands in there. Probably would of. Just thought I'd let everyone here my story.......

Wow some friend (I use that word loosely). This is a good lesion for all of us. I hope you can eventually get back up.

No one need's so called friend's like these, the only person you can trust with your own bankroll is yourself

WOW... lilnewt... what a bummer! I had a similiar thing happen on my Doyles account but was for a very small amount of money at the time. I had ground it out in freerolls and micro stakes to get it to where it was though, so was still very dissappointing.
GL with getting it going and then getting it built back up.

WOW... so I play in the Doyle's buy-in today, showing down ONLY strong hands, getting involved in very few pots, but winning the ones I'm in,.. sitting in about 4th of 12 left.
One limper, I get A-T and raise it up to 4xbb in pos., and get two callers.
I flop the Ace, bet out 3/4pot and get smoothcalled by charterboss with a Jd-7d??... completely missing the flop, and wondering afterwards how he could've possibly even made the preflop call.. oop (out of position)????
Turn's another diamond, over half pot bet by me so he's getting less than 3:1 on his money but then calls anyways as a 5:1 dog???
Do the players on this site not no how to play??... or maybe just some brand new one's starting out??
Cuz whoa.... it was real bad on there today for the most part.
utg raises allin utg for over 2K with blinds at 25/50 (holding AA), sb calls w A-Qs???.... anyone heard of risk to reward ratio???
Whoa...... see ya $5, lol.
I figured, "Hey,.. a priv. forum, maybe there'll be some good players on it?!?!"
..... maybe...
see ya

Default Game today on Doyles... so bad!!!! whoa...

Hey,.. there's great books out there on the market these days for learning how to play poker. Not just being sarcastic and don't really give a damn about the $5. Just thought I might mention it cuz the play in today's game was the pits.
GL ('L' being an important proponent it would seem in this forum).

A MegaBummer for sure!

But I think it would have to be a Very good friend for me to trust them with my online accounts. You never really know what can happen ...
